This is the first licensed sex shop in Aberdeen, and I must say, it is a very impressive business. The shop is discretely located in the busy George street area of Aberdeen, and is bright and clean. The staff are extremely helpful and the range of items on sale is large and impressive. Here one can legally buy R18 videos and DVDs, first generation, not copies. The prices are very reasonable and you can get very good deals. All videos and DVDs are exchangeable. New titles are regularly updated. I certainly recommend QT to anyone looking for first class adult material.

Personal Lines is just down the road from the train station and I was surprised how well they've packed out the inside. There were a few business-men in there when I went in during the day. It's part of an international company apparently, and the guy behind the counter is friendly, helpful and can be approached easily (although he doesn't initially come across quite way). He helped me out with one item I was curious about to show me what it looked like and gave an honest opinion.

There was a little of the sales patter to someone else (sounded like a regular?) but not overdone. It seems to be mostly DVD/videos, with a good selection of dolls and vibes for the size of shop, a wall devoted to magazines, and one smaller section of clothing (usual maids/other type outfits and stockings, masks, whips).

The Private Shop is on the outskirts of the town centre and staffed when I went in there by a lady, the manager wasn't there at the time. There's a whole room for DVDs/videos and some more in the main room too and you're welcome to browse at your leisure, I was encouraged to check them out and mostly at £40, or £60 for 2.

A table was set out at one end of main room with leaflets and flyers for pole-dance-tutors, events and sex-related services. Quite a bit of bondage gear, fair selection of toys (I was taken with the good selection of anal love balls) and there were some leather (I presume) boots on display in various colours. A few of the outfits are on display on mannequin bodies  and there was a TV on a normal channel ( so it was quite relaxing - don't know if that was ever used for showing any of their videos.

I went to this shop purely because of the write up on this site, and I have to agree with the comments already submitted.

All the DVD’s are upstairs and priced at £25, (though they are not in defined category area’s and are scattered randomly).

The downstairs has an enormous amount of toys and clothing; there is even a dungeon area, that they have given appropriate lighting to, and set behind ‘bars’, to give the right atmosphere to those who wish to buy that sort of gear.

The lady serving was none pushy, friendly, and had a very good sense of humour, really putting me at my ease. When I’m back in the area, I will definitely be revisiting this shop.

Can only echo what's already been written but have to comment on just how helpful, knowledgeable and approachable the owners are.

I went to the shop in Sep 06 with my girlfriend looking to buy some toys. The male owner gave the most comprehensive run down of lubes possible and got us to try each to see their effects and then showed us around the toys and let us try out what we wanted - no not like that!

When it was obvious that minds hadn't been made up he even called his wife to see what she advised and she came back to the shop to give her 'expert' opinion.

Purchases successfully bought we went home to enjoy and I can only say - very good advice!

I'd happily recommend this shop to anyone wanting a relaxed and non intimidating environment to explore the fun side of life. Excellent way to shop, well done and thanks.

As someone working in the industry I see a rather large selection of shops of varying quality both licensed and unlicensed across the UK and have to admit that this new store in a quiet industrial estate with ample parking is one of the best and is now fully licensed to sell R18 DVDs.

This sex superstore has vast and clearly marked sections for lingerie, toys, bdsm etc.

There are both male and female staff who are extremely friendly and helpful, the shop is bright and fresh with plenty of room to browse and where you don't feel at all under pressure. The prices are lower than average but you don't feel that quality has been sacrificed for price.

This is the way all adult stores should be!

The shop is nicely tucked away, and is accessed via an alley, and the shop is on the first floor, up a steep fire escape.

Inside, the walls are almost bare; there is very little stock, and the DVD's are priced at £40, rising to £60 for new releases.

The guy on site was too eager to sell, and  though there wasn't much to browse through, everything I picked up had to be commented on. I tried to do a deal with some DVD's I had with me, but he was offering hardly anything off as a swap.

My advice is to travel elsewhere for your porn! You'll save money and get a much wider choice.

Nice 'n' Naughty are celebrating the licensing of their only previously unlicensed shop last Friday 17th November.

My main object was to visit the cinema but whilst waiting for the woman behind the counter to serve me I browsed around the shop. I found a vast selection of video's and dvd's which were priced individually or grouped at three for 100.00 pounds, which seemed a little expensive compared to internet prices, but it does avoid the embarrassment of having delivered to your home, the range would cater for most peoples tastes.

The shop had a range of toys which was not huge, I found the stock to be mostly video's and dvds. Where this establishment excels itself is the staff, the woman behind the counter was pleasant and helpful, she pointed out where the entrances to each of the two cinema screens were and where the toilets were situated and that refreshments were available. Upon leaving a gentleman was behind the counter and he said goodbye and have a safe journey.

All in all a very friendly establishment.

Even before its recent refurbishment making the shop at least 4 times as big, it was well worth a visit for all your sexual needs and more. The staff would order you stuff that they didn't have in and they nearly always had items in.

Since it's recent refurb, however, their stock has become more widespread with new items arriving every day. The staff knew their regulars and would show the latest arrivals they knew we would enjoy. Their array of vibrators and anal toys was vast, along with their dvds and videos.

The staff are great, they try out all the items and will let u try the open vibrators that are behind the counter before you buy. They make you feel welcome and follow our own belief that sex is completely natural and as a woman feel at ease going in their on my own.

This has to be one of the finest most eloquent sex shops in England. The staff were incredibly friendly, extremely knowledgeable and were there to help when prompted. None of that horrible ... forced buying approach... thankfully there seems to be a lot less of that now.....

Here they had an incredible array of DVD's, .. all the latest titles, clearly marked with an excellent section for all to see. They had a fantastic approach to the display of all their stock. They had inviting signs for details of special offers... and very special offers were available on multiple buys.. very , very competitive with the rest of the country... I am a frequent traveller so I know my PORN!

They had a fantastic display of Magazines here too..... the best I've seen by far!! A great section for toys... not too overbearing... there were plenty of couples here shopping which was great to see!

Finally there was nice gay section with plenty of T/S and sissy paraphrenalia... A very welcome and fresh approach I must say!!!

All in All a fantastic shop with great offers and very realistic prices and very competitive too!

I know this review section is supposed to be about shops. How about a shop, a cinema, preview booths, a striptease (four times daily), Oh! yes! I forgot...a private lapdance... No kidding!

As far as I know this place is a one-off! This 'shop' is simply a 'one-stop' sex central

The sex shop alone is worth a visit. They must have 2000 titles available. A great range of toys and clothing too... there were a few ladies in there and couples. As well the usual mix of guys like myself.

It has a 100 seat cinema... playing many of the latest releases. Special preview booths are there too... and I've only ever seen these in Amsterdam. These were great. You can check out a movie before you buy it. The striptease was free, as it was in with the cost of the admittance into the cinema.. About £10 I think. Not sure about the private dance, but this was definitely available.

The staff were very helpful and polite and asked if their help were needed, which it wasn't as they'd already done such a good display of categorizing their movies.

As I reached to pay for my DVD's... My eye was taken to a fantastic area for all sorts of sexual enhancers... too many to mention here.. But I'm sure they'll be needed in a few years.

A one-stop sex centre in the middle of the country a stone's throw away from New Street Station... A wonderful idea in a great location... well worth a visit... How much was that lapdance again?

Only problem is the prices - £35 per DVD. I understand the cost of the licence is £9000 but London is only a train ride away and at £20 per film you would only need to buy a few to pay for a train ticket….

The staff were very helpful and if there was something you are looking that they don't already have they get on the phone there and then, to order it for you.

When I got hold of the 2 back issues of my Harmony Concepts films that same week I was 'well happy' even more so as I got them at the standard rate + discount!

Shop looks a little drab from the outside but inside it is well laid out with a reasonable range of films grouped according to category. Doesn’t stock
much in the way of toys etc. I wanted to buy a couple of films but £35 each . I asked  about reduced prices such a 2 for £50 and was told no but pointed to a rack of films on offer for £20 each – unfortunately nothing took my fancy although they were all OK films (if a little old).

DVDs start at £10 each, without a case. They have 3 films on each disc and are good value for money. Being a first timer to this particular shop I was given a freebie which he admitted was rubbish !! BUT it was free so who's complaining???

Saints & Sinners has to be one of the nicest, least seedy adult shops I've visited. The store is clean and bright... unless of course you decide to take a trip to the dungeon... no it's not that bad! A really nicely fitted out basement serves as a fantastic S&M show room, while the main shop is very open and well lit (unlike some shops!). 

My girlfriend and I felt happy going in as a couple & we've even been back individually, and always felt welcome! Think Ann Summers with less purple, more light and less commercial!

Over 1500 R18 DVDs in stock from every available distributor/wholesaler in the UK. All our DVDs are £25-£30 and videos are £20-£25 with discounts available for multiple buys. We exchange DVDs for £10 within 7 days of purchase or £15 thereafter.

We have weekly special offers and all out staff are trained and knowledgeable with regards to our products. We pride ourselves on being clean, brightly lit and "female" friendly and also carry a large range of gay DVDs.

We also have a film club whereby we give a free DVD to regular customers who have purchased 5 DVDs, this doesn't require any personal information, simply a password specific to that individual customer. This was my first time in a sex shop so I wasn't sure what to expect. I bought a sex toy and 2 videos. They had a good selection of toys at reasonable prices.

However when I went to purchase the video's one of the guys (there were 3 or 4 stood in the shop..all possibly connected with the shop) said "oh, I'll get you two better ones than that".. He went in to the back and come back with 2 unmarked tapes. Video's cost me 100 for them both. They wasn't the best video's either. 1hr on each. This shop is unlicensed (as I found out later) and as all the elements of a sleazy establishment.

In the June issue of ETO, their Mystery Shopper was in Bolton, visiting the town’s adult stores, visiting 6 stores in the town.

Out of the 6 stores under review, the Nice’n’Naughty branch was the only store awarded the maximum 5 star, As good as it gets in any retail sector rating for its store.

Nipped in there yesterday, thinking Valentines day, and me being in serious trouble as I'd not got anything for her yet; and how surprised was I!

First by the range of toys, DVDs and Lingerie, but also by how comfortable the place felt! The guy behind the counter was really friendly, and seemed to know what he was talking about!

They had a great range of Rampant Rabbits, which should keep anyone's wife happy, including mine! He took me through their different functions, and I ended up with an all singing all dancing version that should keep her happy for hours!

Then it was on to something to wear, and ended up with a rather slinky set from Wild Designs!

Will definitely be in there again, and may even treat us to a DVD, will take the wife next time as well, as I'm sure she'll fell as relaxed in there as I did!

I went in there with my boyfriend about a year ago to make a purchase and expected to feel very intimidated being female, but I felt the opposite, I was accepted like any other customer, with just one guy behind the counter, who was most helpful, we weren't rushed or pressured, the shop is only small but with a great choice of toys and DVDs which we looked at as well as mags, books and bondage gear.

I felt comfortable and wouldn't mind going in without my other half if I wanted.

Our purchase was wrapped in brown paper for discretion and we left feeling comfy.

I felt comfortable and welcome in the shop, and the bloke on duty was friendly and quite happy to chat. It's a friendly enough shop that doesn't attract to many weirdo's. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit the place, but for a small shop it is well stocked on porn mags - and they can be had very cheap if you don't mind buying "pre-owned".

I visited what used to be Clonezone on St James' Street and it is now Nice 'n' Naughty.

I was greeted by a really nice girl (think she was the naughty one LOL). Something that was a surprise in the shop, as normally when I nip in to a gay store, you normally get ignored by the staff!

It had some really nice bits, and seemed to cater for us gay boys and girls really well. I ended up getting a couple of dvds on a multi buy offer, and to my surprise was actually given some customer service!

They had a suggestion box on the counter, and the boy and girl there were really sweet and helpful.

So going to wish the new guys n gals there a lot of luck for the future, nice to see a shop that looks after its customers and willing to get them what they want in a shop.

Externally it lacks some of the polish of the competition. Blinds in the window reminded me of my dentist's surgery'. Combining the best of the boutique style decor with a licence to sell real porn, it was the last and best shop I visited in Brighton. Split into three distinct sections, a lot has been done with relatively limited space.

The main space featured fetish clothing and the third room was the BDSM and bondage equipment area.

There were no magazines nor VHS tapes. There was however a display of fiction and non-fiction books

DVDs on  most subjects could be found, with fetish titles particularly well represented. £30 each, £50 for 2, £70 for 3 and  £100 for 5.

A pervy paradise and this remarkable retailers gets a remarkable score. Full marks.

This shop would be ok if the personnel didn't change every five minutes. Buying adult material is much more comfortable when you have at least some kind of familiarity with the staff. Unfortunately as soon as you get to know a member of staff here, they are moved or fired and replaced by someone who doesn't know you are a regular, good customer and is therefore only interested in palming you off with something they have rather than trying to obtain something you want.

This is a shame, since the store looks quite nice since being re-vamped, but for my money nothing beats that personal touch between long-time manager and loyal, regular customer.

This was our 1st visit ever to a sex shop my wife and I knew what we wanted but the price was £55-00 compared with around £20 to 25 on line etc. As we were about to leave we were asked did they not have what we wanted we said they did but the price was over the top and we were going to Ann Summers in Bolton were it was £24.99 immediately without question he matched the price so we bought.

However although the shop was pleasant and the guy helpful I doubt we will be going back as there prices seem too high. I do check prices on the web before purchase but going to private web pages I can find no details of goods or prices. So be warned it is likely that prices are hugely inflated.

It's got everything you could want, great selection of R18 DVD's from £19.99-£34.99.

OK it's not a huge shop, but I have never seen so many different make of vibrators in one shop. He has everything in there, and the prices are the best I have ever seen.

The guy how runs it was very helpful and had a good way with customers. My partner felt very relaxed in there, and he can tell you everything you will need to know about the toys.

I would go back time and time again, so if you are in the area its a must if you enjoy sex shops!

I think I happened to be served by the owner, who was very helpful and had a thorough search for the best value purchases and gave a little package-discount even though there was already a sale on.

The window display was rather higgledy-piggledy but interesting and colourful enough to draw the eye. From the outside it looks huge but it's perhaps only 10 feet wide.

The DVDs ranged from £30 to £40. (2 for £75, 3 for £100). There was also a buy 3 for £70 or 6 for £100 deal on cheaper titles.

As a regular visitor to this store I have to agree with Tony. This shop is great, something for everyone, from outfits to a women’s size 26 to the hardcore DVDs/videos on which they do great deals. As a woman I find the atmosphere non-threatening – they’re staff are friendly and approachable and as a refreshing change, not all male. For the shy women out there, my advice is to go on a Thursday when there are two women behind the counter. There is always some leniency on price – they will try to get you the best for your money, so don’t be afraid to ask for a deal on multiple items. Happy shopping!

There is a really large sex shop in Cardiff called Lovecraft, it's a licensed shop and they sell hardcore videos and magazines, as well as lots of toys and clothing. My self and my husband were not at all embarrassed to go in, it's bright and the staff are friendly, and prices are very reasonable.

Although they have an extensive selection of dvds/vids/mags and toys they are pretty expensive e.g; vids are 35 quid and dvds are fifty...

Just read the review of the shop. They have a huge range of videos and the prices are cheap compared to other shops in the town, myself and my wife bought a dvd for £22.50 Hardcore copy of Deep Throat and a hardcore video by Anabolic for £18.50 they also have a managers special bin  where dvds and videos alike have been reduced as low as £15 each in quantity. We visit this shop frequently and have always been more than happy with what we have bought, on the one occasion a dvd was faulty it was exchanged without question they even offered us the choice of any not just the same title, we are also able to get a £10 credit on returning some films against the next one, the staff are most friendly and courteous and my wife feels happy shopping there alone.

We have been visiting the shop now for some time and have to say of any shop anywhere Nice N naughty have by far the best customer service anywhere. Our first visit will remain with us for years to come. We were after a vibrator and having walked in and spent sometime looking at the extensive range of available products were at a loss as to what to go for. It was our first visit and a little apprehensive as to what to expect. We were approached by a young lady (Trish) who then spent ages explaining each and every product to myself and Girlfriend. At no point were we pressured into spending hundreds of pounds and we felt we would have been as much thought of and received just as much attention if we had wanted just advice. Since then we have visited this shop many many times and the service has just got better. It’s so far removed from the stereo typical sex shop it has to be visited to be believe.

I recently visited Nice n Naughty in  Chester, and I would like to comment on the shop from a customers point of  view. I took my wife for a day out shopping in Chester last week and we had  checked out the Nice n Naughty website but my wife didn't want to go into a sex shop because the Private one we had been in before was seedy. When we walked past the Nice n Naughty shop it was great to see a nice window display with sexy clothes. My wife decided to stay in the car while I went in to get her a Toy. The staff were so friendly and made me feel relaxed, the girl there explained all the types of toys available., I went out and convinced my  wife to come in as it was nothing like the pushy sales man at private,  although the man in Nice n Naughty is big with a bald head he is a really nice bloke and he showed me the videos while my wife was picking a toy with the girl. The choice of videos was better than the toys they had hundreds. I recommend the shop to anyone and the pubs in Chester aren't bad either.

I am a frequent customer of Pillow Talk, and have been for many years.

The staff are always friendly and helpful. They have a good selection of DVD's, with a buy 2 get 1 free offer always on, and they also allow me to exchange my old DVD's for a new one for only £15.

They are currently under new management, and the shop is looking really good inside with loads of new products. They even have a blown up sex couch in the DVD section which looks like it would be great fun!

They have their own car park next to the shop, making it really easy for me to nip in on my way home from work to get something for the evening, and being just off the A23 it's really easy to get to.

Easy to find, close to Three Bridges railway station. The easiest local parking is in the car park belonging to Blockbuster and a carpet shop, just across Hazelwick Avenue.

The shop itself is clean (not at all the sleazy pit that I'd feared!), quite large, well lit and apparently well-stocked. It's divided into two 'rooms'. The first contains a selection of R18 videos/DVDs (£30 each). The second has a large display of toys (prices seem generally to be slightly higher than for mail order over the net, as I'd have expected), lingerie, fetish and bondage wear, and a rack of magazines.

The lady staffing the shop when I visited was quite heavily tattooed and pierced, which I found a bit off-putting. However, there was no pressure to buy, and she was friendly and extremely helpful when asked. I'll be happy to go there again.

I travelled to Derby today to have a look at the shop as the prices mentioned on your site seemed quite reasonable. I have to say that it was a very good shop with a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff were both knowledgeable and very helpful. What they fail to mention on the note they sent you was that they also sell 3 DVDs / videos for £50 (cheaper than some of the on-line mail order companies!). I would recommend this shop to anyone who happens to be in Derby.

I felt relaxed as I admired lots of strap-ons in leather with bright chrome. Bondage equipment made up one wall and there was a bargain bin of discontinued lines.

Beyond dolls I found the DVDs, including titles you couldn't buy in the UK for €60, and more mainstream product for €50, all with a 50% exchange option.

On the third wall was a big range of lingerie. Everything seemed well arranged and clean, and I enjoyed the relaxed shopping atmosphere.

Nothing outstanding about it, good or bad. The big shock was finding the sort of scat film that the BBFC wouldn't touch with a shitty stick.

DVDs priced in the range of €38 to Private titles at €60. There is an offer of 3 for €80 but this seems to exclude the Private titles. VHS lives on at €23 each. Unsealed Euro and UK mags were €8.

Not a bad shop by any means, just a bit unsinspiring.

This was my favourite find in Dublin, not least thanks to a first class window display.

It's an exotic adult boutique style store which got bigger as I discovered room after room. The first was a fashion and fetishwear space. The next had bronze bunny-girls with toys and erotic books. The next room with more clothes, medical goodies and glass dildos led to a piercing studio out back and a DVD room. The range of DVDs stretched from €35 to €80.

I'd like to give this shop 5 stars, but I just can't shake the memory of the rather weighty pricing.

It has a large selection of bondage, fetish wear, toys, mags vids and dvds. It is a fun friendly shop with a less sterile and more open approach to sex shopping, no bell for entry no white walls! They have a massive range of toys and all sorts of lingerie and fetish wear. The proprietor is a very obliging lady, very unlike some of the 'dodgy geezer' types in other shops. The atmosphere of the shop is more like a boutique, is quite compact and on two floors. The ground floor has a back room displaying magazines, though I saw no hardcore on display.w

The DVDs and Videos are literally from 'under the counter'. They have both first and second-hand DVDs at either 50 or 45 each - expensive to say the least. But they do have a half-price exchange policy which I've used without quibble. The  selection was rather limited and it was difficult to browse properly when faced with a pile of titles unsorted in any way. So, the good point was the service and  the range of clothes and toys, the bad points are the prices and the display of the DVDs. I also found their web-site rather poor.

As the name suggests, they've got a large range of lingerie and bondage gear, sex aids, etc.  On top of this, they have a large range of uncensored American import magazines and a lot of videos.  Of these, only about 40 or so were R18 (though I was last in not long after the changes in regulation) and they had no R18 DVDs, though they said they were going to start stocking them soon, and so may already have them.  A good shop; clean, well lit and not sleazy.  Customer service is pretty good and some of the staff are really helpful.

Decided to check this store out, visited the Leather & Lace store in Drummond Street which was staffed by friendly people and had a reasonable selection of mag's, DVD's and a wide range of videotapes (more varied than dvd's as a matter of fact).

DVD's were priced around the £35 mark, but a sign on the counter stated that as of late June, the trade-in service they offered was being stopped and all DVD's would be lowered to £30...not too bad, maybe it was just a bad day for selection.

The Exeter shop is not the worst I've seen, however if you go in with a coupon from a newspaper they will tell you "no, no - we aren't involved in that offer.." or if you try to get a 50% credit on their (way-overpiced) dvd's you will be told: no - you should have read the sign more carefully, we only exchange like-for-like.

Save your money - go to Simply Pleasure at  the other end of town or if you are looking for porn mags, you'll find the "Read & Return" bookshop just opposite.

Simply Pleasure is probably the biggest and brightest sex-shop in the south-west. The staff are courteous and helpful and never do that irritating - hovering behind you "are you looking for anything in particular, sir" - routine. It's a nice shop.

They don't stock many porn mags because at the other end of town is the excellent "Read&Return" bookshop which has a really big porn mag section at the back of the shop -buy new or used.

For hardcore dvd's though, Simply Pleasure is well stocked. Prices as I recall are £45 each or £60 for 2 ( not sure tho) which is a lot, but you can return a dvd (with receipt!) to get a 50% credit on another one. It's the sex-toys that are the main feature of the shop - prices are high (as is always the case if you don't buy mail-order), but they make a point of trying to stock good quality sex-toys that really work ( ask them about the new high tech multi- feature vibrators!). Top marks also for being female/couples friendly.

The shop is difficult to find if you don't know your way around Exeter so take a street map (don't say I didn't warn you!) but there is a small pay-parking zone just outside the shop which is very convenient. One last thing - you might want to take your own bag if you are a little self-concious. They may have changed plastic bag designs by now, but the old "love-shack" branded plastic bags were anything but discreet!

I've never been too keen to go to a sex shop before and it's only after finding this list that I would give it a try. I had a little drink to get up the courage but needn't have bothered. Party Times in Glasgow was a treat to go into. Nobody bothered me when browsing, but were quick to help when I needed it. Top class. I will go back with no qualms. Don't listen to the quote above that states you wouldn't know it was a sex shop - It does mention on the door over 18's only.

I didn't even mention reading Melonfarmers to claim the 10% discount. They did it anyway!! A really nice experience. Cheers!

My wife and I found this great sex shop in Glasgow. From the front it looks like a fancy dress shop with wigs and costumes in the front window. Inside it has a great range of videos, DVDs, sex toys, pole dancing shoes and boots.

The staff are friendly and very helpful. My wife bought a pair of pole dancing shoes, Rampant Rabbit and I bought a DVD. My wife and I will definitely be going back in the near future.

The shop is located in a small precinct of shops next to the cattle market.  A general market is held there on Wednesday's and Saturdays so parking could be a problem.

The shop itself is relatively small, only a medium sized room for a selling area.  It is run by a man and woman, presumably husband & wife who are quite friendly.  They stock hardcore magazines at £15 each or four for £30. Their hardcore VHS format videos are £40 each or four for £100.

(videos are generally £20 in London, magazines <= £10)

I didn't price the DVD's but I presume they will be more expensive than the videos.

They sell the usual range of dildos and sex toys at the usual sex shop prices.

The road swings right past an MOT centre and we are in the square of Industrial units called Chase Lane Industrial Estate. This is a perfect location for a discreet shop!

I visited Temptations in Halifax a week ago. I was enticed into the shop with the promise of 1/2 price DVDs, Upon entering I found a throwback to the 70's! This dark and moody shop stocked DVDs and videos that covered EVERY topic you could imagine at a price of £40 each or 3 for a £100. There were about 3000 titles to choose from.

The guy behind the counter wasn't a modern shop keeper but a surly guy  who offered me a Bully Boy Vibrator for £45 - no discount but he'd give me Free Batteries! I asked about the 50% discount and he told me the prices had been cut in half already.

I found a very strong German film and purchased it. Not a couple friendly adult outlet, just a seedy sex shop full of porn!

This shop is amazing and the staff are fantastic and have managed to get almost any DVD I have asked for if its available. They have about 2000 DVDs always in stock and as is great because you are left totally alone to browse, toys are on display to try and help make your decision and the range of creams and lubes is amazing. Very brightly lit and whenever I have been there, a mixture of couples, men and women are there shopping. A great shop.

We actually stock about 1500 DVD's and 750 Video's in each store, we will endeavour however to get any R18 DVD for any customer and we do stock from every available distributor / wholesaler in the UK. We get approximately 50 New Release films every week. We also specialise in our range of magazines and 2000 or so toys, lubes, creams etc and likewise will endeavour to get any item a customer may want. We don't however stock a great amount of lingerie or novelties.

All our DVD's are £25-£30 and videos are £20-£25 with discounts available for multiple buys. We exchange DVDs for £10 within 7 days of purchase or £15 thereafter. We have weekly special offers and all out staff are trained and knowledgeable with regards to our products. We pride ourselves on being clean, brightly lit and "female" friendly and also carry a large range of gay DVDs.

We also have a film club whereby we give a free DVD to regular customers who have purchased 5 DVD's, this doesn't require any personal information, simply a password specific to that individual customer. This is a loyalty club. we do after all appreciate and reward our regular customers as many would testify.

This is in my opinion the best adult shop in Hull. It is situated directly opposite the train and bus station and has the best prices.

The best thing about this shop is that the woman who runs it REALLY knows what she is doing...sadly she employs a woman who often has trouble finding the DVDs for the empty case you've chosen, and an irritating man who asks if you're alright every 2 minutes without fail which gets very annoying. The owner is extremely friendly though, you can ask her anything and she will not embarrass you and make sure you know that she's heard much worse!

The amount of toys is quite small compared to Pulse & Cocktails, but they are generally far cheaper and the buy 2 toys, get 1 half price deal is hard to beat.

There are also fantastic deals on pre-owned DVDs... £15 per dvd or 3 for £30 on most used DVDs and £10 per DVD or 3 for £25 on the others.

I would definitely recommend all Hull residents who are interested in this sort of thing visit it before anywhere else!

Plans for a window display at a Kidderminster sex shop have come under fire amid fears it could offend the town’s Muslim community.

It's easily found at the end of an industrial estate on the outskirts of Kings Lynn, so out of the way of prying eyes etc. Not at all seedy and also very helpful plus non pushy. Well worth a visit ...even the missus enjoyed going! We will be going back again...and again!

I have been a customer of the Private stores across the North West for many years, but this week I went to the new shop that has been recently licensed in Liverpool on Seel Street . All I can say is what a refreshing change. The shop was clean and well lit with the almost unbelievable selection of DVD's and Video's. The guy behind the counter explained that Nice and Naughty took over and completely refurbished it. The guy was really friendly and helpful without the hardsell you become used to in the Private shops, he explained the range of titles and then left me to pick at my own leisure. The prices were a lot cheaper than I normally pay and the choice great. They also had a large section Magazines which the guy explained are up to date and new titles come in every week. Mags are not my thing but the selection was impressive. I purchased 2 DVDs and was stunned when he offered me another one completely free of charge.

If you are fed up of the same old title the Private shop offers and the pushy hard sell attitude - give this place a try.

What an unbelievable difference walking into the new Nice 'n' Naughty in Colquitt Street Liverpool.

I went into the shop last week with my wife and could not believe the difference in this shop compared to other sex shops.

It is the first time I have been into a Nice 'n' Naughty  shop and I have to say that if all other sex shops were up to this standard especially in the South of England the shops would be a pleasurable experience.

The range of rabbits, DVDs, lingerie, outfits, shoes and other goodies was excellent.

The staff were so friendly and helpful not the usual smelly tattooed oaf you get in the shops in the south.

It has given me and my wife a total new shopping experience, its just a shame that the shop is so far away from where we live.

Plans have been unveiled for the county’s first ever fully licensed adult boutique in Liverpool, aimed specifically at women.

Fast-growing adult retailer Nice n Naughty is opening a plush city centre lingerie and accessory store where hanging baskets will adorn the exterior and an appealing shop window display will be the first in Liverpool for more than a quarter of a century after licensing chiefs lifted previous design restrictions on sex industry retailers.

The Colquitt Street premises will boast a special relaxation zone where customers can enjoy refreshments as part of a warm and welcoming shopping experience that also features a demonstration area, complete with giant plasma screen showcasing the latest erotic fashion wear.

Store Director Simon Prescott explained: This will be our 10th store across the north west of England and Wales, and it is the first in the country to be designed specifically for females and couples. The exterior design and general atmosphere will have a much softer female appeal and all the staff will be ladies apart from one male worker.

  News October 2008: Longer Opening

The local council have agreed that Adult World can stay open from 10am to 10pm Mondays to Saturdays, and from noon until 8pm on Sundays including bank holidays, but excluding Christmas Day, Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

They also agreed that the opaque film on the window could be removed, and window displays permitted, as long as they involve non-adult merchandise only. General goods must be located at the front of the shop, with the adult area and the general goods areas clearly defined.

Also, for people who might appreciate that sort of thing, the front entrance to the shop is for an ordinary bargain bookshop. It's only when you look in the back corner that you see there are stairs to an adult section too.

The Croydon shop has a wide range of toys, costumes and other goodies. But is run by an up tight woman that looks down her nose at you whilst your shopping around. She has no product knowledge at all and from the attitude of her and her staff would rather be working at a supermarket. The shop is dirty and unorganised it looks like the gift shop at Godstone farm. they should be added to this list just purely to warn others of the lack of service and the general feel of uneasiness.

The Croydon shop is small but pretty comprehensive selection of toys, but a little pricey.  Relaxed atmosphere and pleasant, helpful staff. 

The Crystal Palace shop has a room above that they let for £25 an hour, minimum 2 hours, with some basic bondage frames to play with.
