It's traditional for highbrow critics to feign ennui in the face of pornography. Well I ain't highbrow: I be dumb. As such, I don't mind admitting I didn't find Dr Screw boring. No. I found it morbidly fascinating.

What got me was this: the pornstar cast are clearly having genuine sex - yet thanks to our hopeless censorship laws both they and the programme's editors are forced to perform a bizarre game of muckypup peek-a-boo as they do so.

The end result is a nonsensical compromise. It's OK to see an erect penis, apparently, but you can't see it penetrating anything... except sometimes you sort of can. Cunnilingus is shown in fairly explicit detail, while blowjobs are hidden behind cupped hands or strategically-posed thighs... except sometimes they're sort of not. It's like an orgy that can't decide how rude it wants to be.

I'm not complaining - just baffled. These regulations seem inherently pointless, like the American public drinking law that leads winos to swig cans of beer from within brown paper bags. At the end of the day, they're still winos, still in public, still drinking beer. So what's the point?

Protection, presumably. Yet since the show is broadcast on a restricted-access post-watershed channel requiring PIN code entry (and a payment) to view, then who, precisely, are we protecting? The mugs prepared to pay to watch it? That's so circular it makes my head spin.

Hardcore smut has been legally available in Britain since the introduction of the R18 certificate six years ago. More recently, Michael Winterbottom's 9 Songs (which features more real sex than most marriages) was broadcast uncut on Sky Box Office (another PIN-restricted service). The other week, a leering C4 documentary on notorious bestial porn flick Animal Farm included a close-up of a man's face while he had sex with a chicken. Yet dedicated adult channels aren't allowed to show explicit consensual sex. Why?

Because porn's embarrassing and tawdry and we don't want that muck on our airwaves? Then ban it outright and have done with it. This present fudge just makes Ofcom look like bigger idiots than the pornographers themselves. And that's saying something.

Nothing new on this set of channels. Start with Climax 1. The theme for the night is newcomers. so they split the night in to one hour segments under a title like "all the fresh you want" (or whatever), the next hour is "more fresh than you can handle" etc., etc. This goes on all night with a ten minute break every hour. The next day, this channel shuffles all the programmes forward an hour and puts the first hour at the end? Still with me?
Now multiply this by three and you get the whole three channel package. All the programmes are repeats of stuff previously shown on the Adult channel. They have become slightly stronger of late but my goodness, only slightly.

Dorcel TV reviewed as part of the Elite TV package

My first real acquaintance with hardcore satellite TV was with a French channel named Rendez-Vous TV. From an age when adult channels always seemed to be teetering on the brink of bankruptcy, Rendez-Vous TV lasted a fairly long time. I always has a soft spot for the presenter Zara Whites who so fluently explained to English, French and Italian speaking customers that outages were temporary and that full service would be resumed in the coming weeks.

So when I popped in a new viewing card to get reacquainted with French satellite TV, it was good to see Zara Whites starring in the first film that I sat down to watch.

The channel is Dorcel TV and it is the satellite arm of the long running French porn production company, Video Marc Dorcel (VMD). The company woodpecker logo has been the mark of good quality porn for as long as I can remember.

It may be worth mentioning that although everything about Dorcel TV is essentially French, the small print reveals that the channel is actually licensed in the Netherlands. (Coincidentally my favourite 'French' actress Zara Whites, was actually Dutch born).

Dorcel TV is based upon VMD's extensive stock of good quality hardcore. The actresses are generally well known and production qualities are high. Typically the films are set in a rich man's world. French mansions and chateaus provide the setting for many a VMD film.

The Dorcel TV schedules also include a fair number of magazine style programmes, again concentrating on the glamourous side of life. Perhaps Jet Sex is the most obvious example. There are also porn star bios and 'Making Of' programmes.

The French adult industry seems a little more enthusiastic than most. The industry maintains an almost Hollywood style publicity machine with star appearances, an industry magazine, Hot, and the publication of top selling DVD charts. Possibly the hype contributes to anticipation of new titles and generates a little more interest in following the latest starlets. This enthusiasm tends to just add a little something and elevates French movies to being amongst the best in Europe.

It is also good that VMD haven't followed the American lead in featuring overly contorted grimacing, as if slutty expressions makes for good porn. VMD use attractive actresses and more naturalistic acting. Certainly works better for this particular reviewer.

Technically, Dorcel TV seems to broadcast with sufficient bandwidth to avoid distractions due to excess compression. So given the good quality of the original, the broadcast quality is also good. English language versions of the films are generally used.

The channel broadcasts hardcore 24 hours a day. There are occasional advert breaks in films with about 3 minutes of phone sex ads at a time. All films are broadcast with complete titles and credits. Films generally start at odd times and there is no attempt to start films at regular times such as on the hour.

It is interesting that the permanent on screen age warning is 16 rather than the 18 Brits may expect. At first this almost seemed a little off putting in that it may indicate something less than full hardcore. But do not worry, the channel features real hardcore and goes a little beyond what the British Board of Film Classifiers would prefer you not to see, even at R18. The British film censor routinely cuts some of the rough sex elements that Dorcel TV broadcasts.

The channel has a good website at www.dorcel.tv which includes up to date programming details. There is also an option to watch Dorcel TV via the internet with good value options for a range of subscription periods.

All in all, a very good channel which provides remarkable value considering that it is included in some low cost satellite packages. Possibly the glamourous settings are a bit over used and therefore the channel probably works better as part of a package. This then provides the variety that Dorcel TV lacks as a standalone channel.


Dorcel TV surely outclasses and is outlasting my old Rendez-Vous TV. But I must admit to a few fond nostalgic memories of Rendez-Vous. I wonder if Laetitia and her wonderful cast of amateur nurses are still going strong in France?

The 2 Free-X TV channels generally offer good quality material selected from the masses of low cost video.  Mainly features a mix of US and Italian hardcore.

It was good to see great performers from porn's Golden Age on Free-X TV 1. It is fascinating to see how fashions have changed. The Golden Age starlets were allowed a little more time to establish their screen presence. The sex scenes were a little more naturalistic, as were the unenhanced and untrimmed stars. It is great to see the old stuff again, but it also good to be able to hop channels to something more modern.

Technically, the channels were broadcast with sufficient bandwidth to avoid distractions due to excess compression. Maybe this is something that viewers may assume, but some of the competing packages broadcast at much worse bit-rates.

All 4 channels largely the same, featuring mild to medium rough sex. Vaginal, anal (lots of), oral, cum. The women are very much treated like pieces of meat. Picture quality not great but watchable, 5-6/10.

Having had the Private Spice card for a couple of months, I have to say that the boat is still out. For me, the card does not compare favourably with the Inxworld card.

On one hand, Spice does seem to have the best picture quality, but not that far ahead of Dorcel TV.

The variety of material is good, covering the mainstream to the fetish. But when pitted against the 5 channel Inxworld card, Spice's variety starts to look less varied - sooner or later that same type of material will crop up on the Inxworld channels.

Again, given it's european background, Spice features a lot of euro-style porn, which for me is a bit of a put off. Lots of beautiful scenery, samey looking euro-girls and almost autocue acting don't really float my boat.

Spice Platinum has lost it's battle with French law and has now stopped broadcasting 24 hours per day. Shows in the UK start at 11pm til 5am. The TP has also changed to 19011V encryption type TPSAES keys updated every 20 minutes. Unless you can get Auto Update or Card Sharing.

It would seem that the time restrictions may only apply to the French TPS feed for this channel

Private spice under some sort of new management have made a number of changes as well as the condom advert. They now broadcast three 8 hour shifts as opposed to the original four 6 hour shifts.

At last they have replaced the new (Private Spice) logo with the same but smaller and transparent...Thank goodness..... I miss the fact they no longer announce if a program is a "premier" or not and they no longer state episode numbers on their freeview listing. However the episode numbers are still available on the web site schedule...

I wish they would just show full movies instead of showing them episodically, though. The DOG logo is still too intrusive in my view, but better than it was. I will email them with some suggestions in this regard - perhaps others may wish to do the same (I would guess that the DOG change was in response to viewer feedback?)

Overall, I think that Private Spice is a very welcome improvement over Spice Platinum, which was already quite good anyway – If they could only reduce the number of repeats

Out of interest, what resolution & bitrates do other people’s receivers show on this channel – the picture quality is the best of any HC channel I have seen (although, to be fair, most of the others range from OK to dreadful!) , but it doesn’t look like full DVD quality, IMO.

All Red Hot cards that are currently on the market will continue to work on the new service. The 4 channel cards will still get four channels and the HD card will get 4 channels plus the HD channel.

  Review Jan 2010: Decent Material But...

My first reaction to spotting a new satellite service called Red Hot Sex TV was a little bit negative. I was momentarily getting it confused with the UK softcore pay per view service, Red Hot TV.

But rest assured that the Red Hot Sex TV channels on Hotbird are fully hardcore and are presumably independent of the similarly named UK channels.

Red Hot Sex TV offers 4 channels that are broadcast 24 hours a day. They offer a mixture of US and European programming. I didn't spot any particular theme differentiating the 4 channels simply named Red Hot Sex TV 1,2,3 & 4.

Each channel shows a block of 4 different videos repeating throughout the day. At present there are no adverts beyond the details of the package and how to subscribe. This minimal advertising is only shown between videos and there are no advert breaks intruding into films.

There is no time banding to assist in finding the start time of the films but this doesn't really matter much for the type programming that dominates the scheduling.

There is up to date programme information on the website, www.redhotsextv.com.This has daily listings showing which films are running on each of the 4 channels.

In terms of content, the low subscription prices necessitates material from the cheaper end of the market.The channels over rely on material that will be very familiar to Satellite X subscribers. There are way too many US programmes set in suburban west coast homes. The programme buyers have done a good job though in selecting reasonable examples from the genre. Most of the US videos featured an attractive cast.

Promotions for the service boast of a range of films featuring various ethnic casts, but this variety is somewhat diminished by the fact that they are all similarly American.

Red Hot Sex TV also features a fair amount of European programing. Again cheaper end budgets mean that a fair amount of material is selected from producers specialising in amateur porn.I generally found that the European material more watchable than the US productions.Perhaps a little disappointingly I didn't spot any British programmes in the line up.

As an aside, a couple of European amateur films featured performers wearing masks. Am I the only satellite X viewer that reaches immediately for the remote control as soon as I see face masks? Of course it could my personal tastes, but my enjoyment of porn is proportional to the attractiveness of the cast. Wearing a mask puts the performers at the bottom end of the scale and so renders the film valueless.

It was good to see that some of my old satellite favourites from Rendez-Vous TV are still going strong. Patrice Cabanal was making some cheap but cheerful French amateur porn back in the 90's. And he's still going strong on Red Hot Sex TV.

The service is in its early days and the amount of programming available so far ensures that repeats are not a problem. Promotional materials suggest that there will be 2 new films on each channel per day.

The weakest aspect of the package is that the films are a bit 'samey'. This is compounded by unimaginative scheduling. For example, I found one guy getting a bit obnoxious in an American film so I channel hopped, only to find the same guy being equally unappealing on the next channel, albeit in another episode in the series.

Several times I channel hopped to find very similar American programmes on each of the 4 channels. Perhaps this issue could be addressed by reserving one channel for US programming and another for European material.

Films are broadcast with full credits at the beginning and end.

The bit rates allocated to the channels are adequate to not noticeably degrade the source material.There were no particularly high definition films to worry about providing a more critical technical review.

All in all a service with some decent material but which over relies on familiar American hardcore.

Regarding TelevisionX/Redhot. It has not changed in well over 18 months. Same old programs. Same old censorship levels. Same fear of erections. Absolute rubbish. Yes there are a couple (of the same old) programs that are harder than the rest but it is a small minority. Why are all the guys and girls so fat,old and ugly? I think they are the laziest television channel on air. The program descriptions never match the actual content. They may say hot lesbians enjoy anal - when in fact there are no lesbians and no anal. Or "barely legal 18" when the woman are in their forties. The other thing they don't seem to do is ever edit their programs either. Whether it is the "harder" cut or the super softcore cut - it will be the same night after night, month after month, year after year. The episodes remain the same. Do they have editors

Redlight Premium was reviewed as part of the Elite TV package.

Redlight Premium mainly features a mix of US and Italian hardcore. The programming will be familiar to viewers of Euro hardcore satellite but the programme buyers have selected well, and the channel is well worth watching.

Technically, all the Elite TV channels were broadcast with sufficient bandwidth to avoid distractions due to excess compression. Maybe this is something that viewers may assume, but some of the competing packages broadcast at much worse bit-rates.

The channels broadcast hardcore 24 hours a day. There are adverts but these are not excessive. Films generally start at odd times and there is no attempt to start films at regular times such as on the hour.

All in all, a very good package covering a wide range of programming which provides remarkable value considering the low cost subscription.

The picture quality across all channels is variable but not good; kind of like watching a well used VHS tape along with digital artefacts. Yes it's watchable usually, but the worst I have seen in my experience of porn channels.

As for the content, there is of course lots of fairly standard hardcore porn including some pretty old stuff, especially on the Gay channel.

Some specialism is on the channels, which loosely stick to the theme of their specific names.

Other fetish is mainly on the Plus and Special channels. I have seen this include pissing (but not on other people which presumably is not allowed), spanking, trampling on men by women, obese people having sex with slimmer people. I think it is good they are providing it, even though it is certainly not high production value stuff.

In general, this package has quite good variety although the picture quality is nothing spectacular.
If you just want fairly standard hetero hardcore (although with a bias on 'rough' sex) I would suggest the cheaper InxWorld 5 channel card is better.

TVL / TeleSierra disappeared from Hot Bird a while back (late 2005 I think). That comment in the Satellite X Channels Review about TVL allegedly showing a sex scene featuring a woman and a horse is true. I saw it the clip a couple of times and couldn't quite believe it. It lasted several minutes (in stark contrast to some of the other clips they showed that lasted seconds) and featured both vaginal and anal penetration. I know they're liberal in Spain post-Franco, but bloody hell... Maybe that clip had something to do with the channel disappearing from the airwaves shortly after I last saw it?

In April, after over 3 years of an increasing number of repeats, schedules nothing like shown on the SKY EPG and the availability of better content on the Net, I cancelled my TVX subscription by registered post with a cancellation date 6 weeks from the date of the letter.

Lo and behold, my credit card was charged in June for June - July. I obtained a Proof of Delivery from the Royal Mail for the registered letter and sent all the details to the credit card company. A refund was arranged.

I've just had my bill for July. There, large as life, is yet another charge from Portland Enterprises (TVX).

On contacting the credit card company again they told me that, given the process is automated, they have to charge the card and I will have to apply for credit each month.

As far as I'm concerned, given the subscription was cancelled and a signature received for the letter, the charge appearing on my card is THEFT. No doubt the credit card company will get sick of my calls in time and do something about the situation but, until they do or the people at Portland Enterprises stop stealing from my credit card company, I will have to spend time ringing for the credit each month, and pay the figure on the card statement as the credit cannot be deducted until the following month's statement.

Thank you Portland Enterprises. Presumably you wish to give the adult industry a bad name.

I STRONGLY SUGGEST anyone tempted to join TVX thinks very hard before giving them a credit card number which they will take as a licence to print money in perpetuity.

TVX4 - Endless US rubbish films. Could be the same film for the same-ness of it all.

TVX3 - Freeview then a 20 minute live show followed by repeats of previous live shows.

TVX2 - Scary! Mainly amateur videos, many featuring some seriously old and fat women (I kid you not). If the program description mentions 'over 18s' are involved then that often means over 18 stone!

TVX1 - The only one worth watching but like them all, far too many 10 minute freeview interruptions.

IMHO, the freeviews and website promise far more the station actually delivers. Most of the descriptions (off the 'i' button) are scandalously inaccurate and bear little relation to the program itself.

As for hardcore, you get the occasional 'slip' and see a little more, but this is probably just a teaser to make you think it gets better. It doesn't.

I noticed about a week ago that the picture quality of the hardcore films screened on these two channels had got much worse. In the past, they were both showing recordings nightly recorded the previous day from Private Spice (Hot Bird.)

The recordings on Tu Tele Local now look like they are being played from a VHS tape recorded in Long Play. The recordings on La Tele Local have severe colour-bleeding problems and extremely low-level audio.

I realised last night that they are now showing recordings of the Redlight TV channels instead of Private Spice. I can't say which channel(s) exactly, as the logo is blanked out in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

So far I have seen the same films / recordings repeat over several evenings. I don't subscribe to the Redlight TV package - so I don't know if this means the channels repeat a lot, or if the two "Tele locales" only own a couple of recordings!

This transponder remains much weaker (for some reason) than most of the others from Hispasat, so I do not recommend using a small dish (i.e. 70cms as the absolute minimum.)

Maybe worth looking at for somebody wondering whether to subscribe to Redlight? So far there seems to have been a bit of variety - the first film I saw had a lot of urolagnia in it as well as the more common fare!

The FTA hardcore starts at 11PM UK time - give or take a few minutes either side.

Canal 47 Seville has changed its name to "Tu Tele Local" (Your local TV) via Hispasat 1D at 30W (11.615H 27500+3/4). It shows recorded programming from Private Spice  from around 11PM UK time seven nights a week. The same recording is networked on "La Tele Local" on the same transponder (the same company owns both channels) but at a much lower picture quality.

Picture quality is reasonable for free. Whereas before they just whacked loads of phone numbers over top of the picture, which meant you couldn't see roughly the bottom third, the whole image is now shrunk towards the top right hand corner above the adverts. Personally I think it's better that way. Schedule details can be found on www.spiceplatinum.nl. Fortunately you can work out what you're watching because Tu Tele Local kindly leave the on-screen listings in between films. Could be worth looking at for somebody in two minds about subscribing to SP?

As well as English, German and French (all with English audio) football coverage and some fairly recent Hollywood fare the Albanian package now has a dedicated 24 hour hardcore porn channel.

Channel X shows the classier side of porn with some tasteful output from Private and some US producers. Channel X previously showed softcore Playboy stuff throughout the day. If your lucky you may not see the same film in 24 hours. If you like Private then your in luck as they show a wide range from their massive output including stuff like Tanya Hyde.

Around 10:45pm (UK time) until 4am each night Channel X is joined by two other channels (DigitAlb 7 and 8) showing similar stuff. Films have English audio and no subtitles on the hardcore output.

X-Dream TV offers good quality material selected from the masses of low cost video. The channel features plenty of European programming with some US material.

Technically, the channel was broadcast with sufficient bandwidth to avoid distractions due to excess compression. Maybe this is something that viewers may assume, but some of the competing packages broadcast at much worse bit-rates.

The Elite TV channels broadcast hardcore 24 hours a day. There are adverts but these are not excessive. Films generally start at odd times and there is no attempt to start films at regular times such as on the hour.

I would let everybody know that the people that run Xplict XXX are not lowlife, rather, we are here to do a job, so let’s not get so personal please.

Yes we repeat our programmes, but we have staggered the times of the repeats so that a programme never goes out at the same time each day. You may also have noticed new programs being advertised regularly both on the channel and the website, as well as the fact that we have amended the way that the EPG is compiled. As requested, you can now record the entire nights programming without having to re-enter a pin at the end of each show. We have taken many of the comments on board from the Melon Farmers forum and we hope that this has been recognized.

As to us “airing the same programmes from over a year ago & cutting them to death”, we don’t edit programmes that are already being aired on the channel, it’s a waste of time and money. Also, I can assure you that as of February 2006 we have had over 20 hours of brand new content on the channel and every month we’ve done our level best to ensure that at least 2+ new titles are aired each month. We have just entered into a great deal with production companies from the UK to the Czech Republic, which has secured us great new content, never shown before in the UK and exclusive to Xplicit XXX. These programmes will be advertised on the channel and the website, so look out for them.

Regarding our forum being down, we are still experiencing technical problems and until these have been resolved, the forum will remain down.

Lastly, as far as our “Fuck you Jack, we have your dough, so we don’t care attitude”, is concerned, let me assure you that we do care, as without customers like yourselves, we “low lives” are out of a job.

Now let me get on with the terrible oh so boring XplicitXXX, I would warn anybody from subscribing to the lowlife people that run this complete trash, they have an obscene amount of repeats on, I have recently re-subscribed because I noticed a few new programs advertised on there website www.xplicit932.co.uk but after a frustrating couple of weeks in which I couldn't tape the programmes [and they have amended that by the way, with you being able to tape it again,] well I did say a few programmes and guess what, they are still putting the same programmes on from over a year ago, only this time they are cut to death, not just putting them on but repeating them night after night after night....need I say more, this must be eligible for the channel with the most repeats in history of all the channels that have ever been on any TV in the world.

They have now taken there forum off [said it was under repair, about 4 weeks so far, and if you try to contact them through the website you will get a "page cannot be found" message as they once again go off on one of there F*ck you jack we have your dough so we don't care attitudes. Be warned and save your cash!

Well I paid for a one months subscription. Whilst they say you are only obligated to sign up for one month, it is actually impossible to do so. you must give them 30 days written notice, which means you by default have to pay for 2 months.

Although I havent had a viewing marathon and only occasionally switched it on, I was surprised that you very rarely see below the waist. Now it is without a doubt softer than all the one night live shows and even softer than the redhot x8 channels. There is very little solo girl stuff so most of the time you are watching the blokes face or his shoulder. It really is bad softcore, actually no, softcore would be better than this. this is un simulated hardcore filmed from angles which prevent anything being seen. Because it is unsimulated, you dont often get to see any wide shots and rarely see breasts.

It is a very poor channel indeed. Still, worth the 20 quid just to make sure no one else wastes their money.

Another thing about xplishit. They manage to stretch 1 sex scene which should normally last 20 minutes into 1 whole hour. Not with adverts mind, but with looping some shots over and over and swapping the audio, they will also have a great deal of lead ins, and worst of all they will fade to black part way through and have a 'end of part one' card, then immediately come back with 'part two' cards and give you a few minutes of what you had just seen, just in case you had forgot.  Its the cheapest pile of crap I have ever seen..

Since all the babecast channels are being bumped down into the 900s I expect them to become stronger and thus give the pay per view channels a run for their money. Well, they do anyway. Not out of strength, but out of the fact that at least they don't pretend to be hardcore, breasts only, but at least you see the ladies the whole time and are not confronted with awful closeups of the backs of their heads or their feet.

I'm with xplicit also and the thing that bugs me is the inconsistency of it. Obviously you won't see blowjobs or penetration but some of their shows otherwise are excellent with prolonged full-on below the waist shots. The problem is that the rest is complete soft utter rubbish.

That's what I don't understand. If they can show the harder stuff at all why not show it ALL THE TIME. What on earth possesses them to buy the crap stuff in the first place? The new "30 hours of filth" they are advertising is just as mixed. Some of the shows are excellent (the first few hours of tonight should be good) but some of the same batch are just awful awful awful.

Paul T described this non-penetrative R18 stuff in an earlier post as a 'twilight world of acceptability' but that doesn't answer the question of why they only do it sometimes.

Several people have commented that it is no longer possible to record Xplicit using Sky plus. We checked with Xplicit and it would appear that this is not entirely correct, you can record Xplicit using Sky plus but you must re-enter the PIN number at frequent intervals. When asked how often it was necessary to enter the PIN number we were told:

At the end of each event i.e if you have an hour long film, then at the end of the event you will need to re-enter the pin, the same for 30 minute programmes. For January I have stacked 30min programmes into 1 hour slots for the EPG, so viewers will have to enter their pins 6 times for the night. In Feb, I will create 2 hour slots for 30min events, but the 1 hour films will remain 1 hour slots.

So there you are. If you own $ky+  you will not be able to record Xplict overnight. The best you can hope for is 2 hours worth and more likely a lot less. We recommend that you don't bother. Xplicit (along with all other UK adult services) have to live with the censorship regime imposed by Ofcom and the content you want to see will be cut before it gets to your screen. We recommend any service that is not regulated by Ofcom. Such services are legally available from Europe with a modest investment in equipment, check any satellite magazine for details.

If you must subscribe to a UK service don't use $ky+ to record it as the advanced features of this device will make your life hell. Use a good old fashioned video recorder and don't expect too much in the way of content.

Tried recording Xplicit myself recently and found the same. Spoke to them and they stated the terms and conditions state you cannot record the programs. The operator stated it was not allowed due to the data protection act. I deal with this act on a daily basis and asked for the relevant section. She had no idea.

I have had a legitimate ABsat card which is for the bouquet of about a dozen channels on Hotbird. The package includes XXL which is on every day from 9pm to about 2 am. from 9 to 11 its softcore (French 16 rated) and from 11 there are 2 hardcore films every night. As far as I can tell, each film is repeated once in the month's schedule.
 
The hardcore is French 18 rated which is hardcore as you and I would understand it. Sometimes the quality is excellent and sometimes poor. This depends entirely on the original material which comes from a variety of sources and countries, including American films and those Italian costume dramas with 2 dozen actors on set.
 
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. You don't have to watch the other French programmess but I enjoy them.
