Lighting had been used very creatively, leaving the shop (with dark grey carpet) the atmospheric side of gloomy, yet illuminating the stock perfectly.

A standout feature that I'd not seen before were R18 DVDs offered for rent at £5 a night. Brilliant.

A helpful manager, a case with medical and fetish items, £15-per-DVD bargain (worthy of the name) bin and a huge display of toys (colourful glass from ToyJoy looked fab under the lights) were all plus-points.

Well presented DVDs (£39.99 each, £75/3, £85/4, £125/6) facing tapes (£24.99) rounded off a very happy visit.

A license was awarded at the end of February and the shop was opened in May 2006

It is the first license to be granted by Neath and Port Talbot Council and was approved despite the 47 letters of objection

  Review from Colin, April 2010: Quick Quick

The shop has a novel approach to hurrying up  long time browsers by suggesting that they risk being reported to police as potential perverts along with CCTV footage. Hopefully tongue in cheek, but in Stasi Britain one can never be quite sure that there isn't an element of truth.

There was a good range of R18 material available, amounting to 350 video and another 350 DVD titles according to the staff with more expected soon. There was also a fair selection of sex toys and some magazines.

The two male staff were very friendly and unassuming and quite willing to let people browse on their own or provide advise if requested. Portsmouth City Council's foolish provision that *anyone* entering the shop *must* show proof of age had already been abandoned by the time I arrived at midday, which was a shame as no one has asked me for proof of age for more than 20 years.

The DVD's and Video's are expensive with every one marked up at £40, but there are also numerous offers available such as 2 for £60, 4 for £100, bundled packs of 10 for £60 and 20 for £100. There is also 50% off for part exchange (with receipt) and it is well worth asking to see what other offers they are willing to make. I bought Private Gladiator parts 1 and 2 (3 discs) for £40.

Overall a bit expensive, but still worth a visit and definitely a massive improvement over previously.
