Good selection, good price... good selection of toys, the best shop for bondage gear,

Staff just left me to it until I approached them. Don't have to ring a bell or anything for entry, (Oh, and the sales assistant was incredibly good looking!) Ranks 2nd.

The proprietor was really nice and explained all kinds of stuff, there was plenty of choice of toys, DVDs, videos, and even kinky underwear. I would have thought this would be embarrassing, but it really wasn't.

The guy explained the workings of all sorts of gadgets, including vibrators and all kinds of things for men. The selection is really good, and my friends tell me that it's price wise the best in Galway too.

All in all: Cheery shop on three floors, huge selection, nice guy working there (good looking too! ;-) ) - not the least bit sleazy, I give it a definite thumbs up!

Huge selection of DVDS, some lingerie (in some larger sizes), reasonable selection of toys, but everything seems to be slightly overpriced. No bondage gear (unless you include handcuffs).

Not a bad shop, but definitely aimed more at guys than girls! Ranks 3rd.

Very small shop, lots of DVDs and Mags, but not much of a selection of anything else!

I felt really uncomfortable in here! Kinda has a sleazy feeling about it. I felt like I was being watched the whole time! Least favourite.

Definitely my favourite shop, didn't feel at all embarrassed, was just like doing grocery shopping! When I entered, the sales assistant asked me to leave my bags at the till, and said if I needed any help to just ask him, the left me to it until I approached him again.

Wide selection of toys for both guys and girls, and lingerie (though no large sizes.) Some bondage gear. Sales assistant was very helpful, opening packaging for me etc. Ranks 1st.

Pulse & Cocktails' sex shop licence was restored in court.

Magistrates in Blaydon said: Even if we had found the [no pornography advertising] condition had been breached we would still have set aside the revocation as we feel that Mr Kidd runs his business in a responsible manner.

We believe Mr Kidd would not knowingly breach the condition, and when the alleged breach was brought to his attention he immediately took steps to have the advertisement removed.

  News April 2008: Licence Revoked

Pulse & Cocktails' sex shop licence was revoked in April 2008 in a ludicrous response to complaints about posters for the shop.

Pulse & Cocktails has appealed and the case will be heard in September. In the meantime the shop is continuing to trade.

Entering the newly-opened Agent Provocateur  store on Glasgow’s Ingram Street, with its complex, splendid set pieces, concept lighting and legions of housecoat-clad glamour girls, is a bit like shopping in a Busby Berkeley musical. Busby probably wouldn’t have got the display cases of glittering whips past the censors, right enough.

‘The Agent Provocateur experience is about avoiding that very British prudery, where we insist on categorising anything to do with sex as sleazy or smutty,’ said their spokeswoman Jacqui Soliman.

My girlfriend and I went into the shop we found it great. we were very welcome. They had a good selection of toys, DVD, outfits, lube, magazines and a lot more. We bought some toys and they were great, the staff were very helpful and you get a 10% discount if you mentioned you were on the melonfarmers web site. I would recommend this shop to any one. Best one in Glasgow.

My wife and I have been living in America for a few years and are used to huge sex superstores, so we were a little worried about finding quality toys, outfits etc on our return to the U.K.....

We need not have worried, Party Times may be a smaller store with a more limited range of products but this little gem has all the essential...even our favorite brand of lube!

The staff are very friendly, the prices are great (yes they do give the10% discount too!) and they have all the toys you will need for lots of fun plus a nice line of sexy lingerie too.

We have been twice already and Shelby has found 2 great new toys and we will keep going back for more! Please try this shop everyone, they deserve our business!

I've never been too keen to go to a sex shop before and it's only after finding this list that I would give it a try. I had a little drink to get up the courage but needn't have bothered. Party Times in Glasgow was a treat to go into. Nobody bothered me when browsing, but were quick to help when I needed it. Top class. I will go back with no qualms. Don't listen to the quote above that states you wouldn't know it was a sex shop - It does mention on the door over 18's only.

I didn't even mention reading Melonfarmers to claim the 10% discount. They did it anyway!! A really nice experience. Cheers!

My wife and I found this great sex shop in Glasgow. From the front it looks like a fancy dress shop with wigs and costumes in the front window. Inside it has a great range of videos, DVDs, sex toys, pole dancing shoes and boots.

The staff are friendly and very helpful. My wife bought a pair of pole dancing shoes, Rampant Rabbit and I bought a DVD. My wife and I will definitely be going back in the near future.

The shop is located in a small precinct of shops next to the cattle market.  A general market is held there on Wednesday's and Saturdays so parking could be a problem.

The shop itself is relatively small, only a medium sized room for a selling area.  It is run by a man and woman, presumably husband & wife who are quite friendly.  They stock hardcore magazines at £15 each or four for £30. Their hardcore VHS format videos are £40 each or four for £100.

(videos are generally £20 in London, magazines <= £10)

I didn't price the DVD's but I presume they will be more expensive than the videos.

They sell the usual range of dildos and sex toys at the usual sex shop prices.

Turn off Eastern Avenue opposite the fire station into Eastern Avenue Industrial Estate. Immediately turn left and then onto Chase Lane, do not head for Eastern Avenue Industrial Estate, follow the road for approx 100 yards running parallel to Eastern Avenue. The road swings right past an MOT centre and we are in the square of Industrial units called Chase Lane Industrial Estate. This is a perfect location for a discreet shop!

The industrial estate has a shared car park so customers can park anywhere in the car park

A subtle shop on the outside I didn't even know it was there. Its fully licensed and although a little on the small side its well presented and had
a good range of stock.

Prices were very good for toys and the normal £30 for DVD's and 2 for £50

The staff were very polite and willing to give assistance when asked. All
packaging was discrete and even gave me free batteries! I'll definitely be visiting again with the girlfriend.
