S.A, which is responsible for providing the pornography website Motherless.com. We required it to submit the record of its illegal content risk assessment to us so we could consider whether it is compliant with its duties.
Ofcom investigation closed
In July 2025 Ofcom wrote that it had received risk assessments about illegal content and so had closed its investigations about reporting requirements. This will not impact any further investigations on other topics such as child
protection. Ofcom investigation re-opend. Ofcom re-opened after the deadline for ID/Age verification passed and this was not implemented on motherless.com. Ofcom stated: Ofcom’s
