Sex Films and BBFC Cuts

All of the hardcore action has been completely deleted. A totally pointless product painstakingly destroyed by the BBFC.

The BBFC at their censorial worst on this one. The reason cited is that this video clearly depicts real sex throughout. The distributors were told to remove all hardcore scenes and those that barely mask the point of penetration. The most offensive BBFC requirement is that the length of sex scenes should be shortened. Assuming that all hardcore has been excised surely there can be no legal difference between a 6 minute scene and a 4 minute scene. Therefore the BBFC must be censoring running time just for the fun of it with no legal requirements to back up their whims.

Summary Review: Retro Allure

A young couple becomes embroiled with the personal problems of another couple on a yacht moored off Sicily during a turbulent weekend of fun, games, sex games, betrayal, spouse abuse, and murder.

An early lurid exploitation gem from the future director of Cannibal Holocaust.

The female leads, Dionisio and Turner aren't shy and jump into their roles, including some lesbian scenes, with enthusiasm.

The film's low budget and locations work together to create a unique charm. The soundtrack and wardrobes also contribute to the film's retro allure.
