News December 2014: Police Diary
The bar featured in a newspaper story based on an evening's diary of uniformed policemen keeping an eye on late night drinkers. Two visits to Temptations revealed nothing untoward.

The clubs licence has been restored without council issues for re-opening after a long covid break. 30 public objections did not sway the council.

In anticipation of an end to lockdown for nightclubs, Elegance has applied for a licence renewal. The bid is opposed by some sort of feminist campaign though. The council decided to renew the licence.

The licence has been approved for the original Granada Rd venue.
The licence will allow Elegance to operate from 10pm to 4am every night. It is planned the club will open four nights a week.

In a long running censorship story council moralists have confirmed that table dancing will not be allowed at the Albert Road venue. Owner Paul Ojla said that the club would be
re-opened at the Granada Road venue after some refurbishment.

94 objections were not heeded as they offered no evidence of the claimed problems and the police reported no troubles at the venue. The licence was duly renewed.

Wiggle were perhaps a bit lucky to get their licence renewed after council snitches reported proper lap dancing on the lap.
The bar has now promised to be on best behaviour, so
no more lap dancing at this particular lap dancing club.
