The inaugural Erotic Trade Only (ETO) awards and dinner were held at the
Belfry hotel, Birmingham.
Among the categories of this prestigious event were Adult Retailer of the
year 2005 which went to Melon Farmers' sponsors, Nice N Naughty, beating off
competition from Anne Summers as well as the other 5 short listed companies.

Nice 'n' Naughty, Nice t' Staff
A Chester-based sex shop chain has become the first business in the adult
industry to receive an Investors in People award. Nice 'n' Naughty,, which has
branches throughout the North West and North Wales, won the internationally
recognised accolade after eight months of assessments of working conditions.
Director Simon Prescott said the company's achievement signalled that mainstream
attitudes to the sex industry were changing: It's unheard of for an adult
company to get an Investors in People award, so we are made up. The assessors
were impressed with the way we treat our staff. They get good wages, conditions,
health benefits and even gym membership. So it's easy for us to attract
good-quality staff.
Hopefully this award will break down barriers and change people's perceptions of
sex shops as seedy back street premises with boarded-up windows. Our shops are
nothing like that. They are clean and our managers are dressed in corporate
uniform. We wanted to create an atmosphere in which couples would feel
comfortable.

The high profile awards are voted for by the industry itself and are
attended by a vast range of adult suppliers, wholesalers and retailers from
all over the UK.

Adult Retailer of the Year 2007
Champage corks have been popping for
the UK’s fastest growing adult store after it firm claimed the Retailer
of the Year title for the third year running.
There were cries of delight from the team and the loudest cheer of the
evening from the audience as the Nice N Naughty team rushed to collect
the sought after prize at the Erotic Trade Only (ETO) awards, held at
Birmingham NEC.
The rapidly expanding company, which has grown from humble beginnings in
Chester to an 11-store business empire, beat off competition from five
other short listed companies to seize the title and company directors
Simon Prescott and Trish Murray are thrilled at winning.
It’s absolutely incredible,
said Simon: I was so nervous, it’s
the most sought after award, like the best film category at the Oscars.
The tension was unbelievable and when they read out our name I just
couldn’t believe it. To have won it twice was fantastic but to get the
treble is unheard of.
The award is voted for by the industry itself and it’s the second time
Nice ‘n’ Naughty, which is the only adult store accredited with the
prestigious Investor in People Award, has beaten, amongst others, high
street retailer Anne Summers to the coveted title.

It’s such an achievement to think where we are today
from where we started eight years ago to the day next week. When we
opened the Chester branch on July 31st 1999 we really, really struggled
but the public’s attitude has changed. This award is voted for by the
industry itself its great to know we are so well respected and
acknowledged by our peers. But it demonstrates the high quality of our
modern and appealing stores and also our friendly and knowledgeable

Adult Retailer of the Year 2008
Nice
n Naughty is celebrating a ‘four-midable’ success after being named the
best in the business by their industry peers for a record fourth year
running.
The Chester-based company that has 11 stores across the North West of
England, Midlands and Wales was named Retailer of the Year at the Erotic
Trade Only Awards – the industry equivalent of the Oscars.
At a glittering Birmingham awards ceremony, Nice n Naughty secured the
coveted crown in an unprecedented run of success, beating rivals such as
Ann Summers and the Private chain of sex shops – to mark its 9th
anniversary in spectacular style.
Delighted company founder, Simon Prescott said the ceremony took place
almost to the day since he started the company in 1999 from humble
beginnings.
In a double boost Nice n Naughty Wholesale also won best oversees R18
film for Supernatural which is produced by the world’s leading
adult movie maker, USA based Wicked Pictures.
Simon emphasised:

Best Retail Chain 2008
The highly prestigious, annual Erotic eLine Awards show was held in the
Festival Center of the Estrel Hotel in Berlin on 17th October.
The eLine awards are run in conjunction with the world famous, Venus
International Trade Fair attended by virtually every major company within
the adult industry. With over 300 exhibitors from 38 countries, it’s a
huge event, attracting wide interest from the media. Representatives from
magazines, the press and several TV channels were in attendance to cover
the proceedings.
Adult producers, manufacturers, retailers, distributors, directors and
stars from around the world were honoured at the eLine Awards with over
500 of the most prominent people in the business, including many famous
celebrities, attending the glamorous gala dinner. In total, outstanding
achievements in 76 categories spanning the adult video, retail, novelty
and internet industries were recognized.
Nice ‘n’ Naughty is therefore absolutely thrilled to have been crowned
Best Retail Chain at the Awards which are contested by companies
throughout Europe, many of whom are larger and more established, such as
Beate Uhse with 280 retail outlets across several countries. By way of
comparison, UK based Nice ‘n’ Naughty currently has 11 stores,
predominantly in the North West region.

Commended at the Warrington
Business Awards 2008
Nice N Naughty and many other businesses throughout the local area
gathered for the 9th Warrington Business Awards, with many of them
celebrating their success!
Nice N Naughty were applauded and highly commended for their retail
presence in Warrington whilst competing in the Best Retailer 2008
category.
The Nice N Naughty retail store, which spans in excess of 3000sq ft
offers an enormous range of adult toys, clothes, costumes, footwear,
novelties and specialist products is a firm favorite amongst the local
community.
Nice N Naughty opened their 2nd store (Chester being the 1st) in
Warrington in February 2003, identifying a high demand for a store in that
location and have since opened a further 9 branches, taking Nice N Naughty
to a total of 11 stores throughout the North West of England & Wales.

Best Retail Chain 2009
Jenson Button isn't the only recent British winner of a major
international trophy because Nice 'n' Naughty also kept the flag flying by
winning the coveted European E-line award for Best Retailer of 2009. The
good news was announced at a prestigious gala dinner in Berlin attended by
all the leading players in the European adult industry. This is the second
year in succession that Nice 'n' Naughty has been recognised on the
European stage, having been voted Best Retail Chain in 2008.
Nice 'n' Naughty directors, Simon Prescott and Trish Murray, received
the award on behalf of the company. Afterwards a delighted Simon
commented, I'm over the moon about this. In football terms, it's like
winning the Champions League two years running. Also like football, our
business is a team effort and the people who deserve this accolade most
are the Nice 'n Naughty staff. It's thanks to their professionalism
and commitment that we're now being seen as a top retailer, not just in
the UK but also Europe. It's amazing when you think about the quality of
the opposition we're up against. I'd like to dedicate this award to our
staff and it was an honour to receive it on their behalf'.
Trish Murray also emphasised the importance of awards such as E-line
from a customer perspective: Being able to show customers that we are
recognised as the best in our industry gives them confidence that they are
buying from a reputable and professional company. We have always striven

customers, of both sexes and all sexualities. I feel that winning the

ETO Award: Best Retail Chain 2010
Nice 'n' Naughty has been recognised once again as the Best Retail Chain
for adult products in the U.K.
The award was presented at this year's ETO Show at the NEC in
Birmingham and is the highest accolade in the UK for companies operating
in the adult industry. Nice 'n' Naughty has now won this coveted award
for an amazing fifth time in six years.
As the current holder of the E-line European Retailer of the Year
award presented in Berlin last October, Nice 'n' Naughty has also
repeated its previously unique feat of being champions of the U.K. and
Europe at the same time. No other retailer has achieved this degree of
success and Nice 'n' Naughty has now accomplished it twice.
The award was collected by Nice 'n' Naughty director, Trish Murray,
who commented, It's a great honour for us to receive the Best Retail
Chain Award from ETO because the winner is decided by the toughest
judges of all -our peers and colleagues in the industry. I'd like to
thank all who have supported us once again and I also want to pay
tribute to the people who won us this award - the team at Nice 'n'

ETO Award:
Best Individual Store 2012
 At
this year's prestigious ETO Industry Awards, held at the NEC, Birmingham
on Sunday 24th June, Adult shop Nice n Naughty Brighton won the coverted
Best Individual Store 2012. The award was accepted by Director Trish
Murray and Brighton store manager Philip Price. The award was narrowed
down to a short list of five across the UK, and voted for by the
individuals with in the UK adult industry.
It is a privilege to receive this award from our peers, and is a
testament to the team at the Brighton store commented Philip and
I would like to thank all the people who voted for the Brighton store.
The trophy will take pride of place Brighton Nice'n'Naughty have
recently celebrated its third birthday, and the award is the cherry on
the cake for 2012.

Three 2013 Owlies Awards for Nice
'n' Naughty in Leeds
The Leeds 5th annual LGBT awards, affectionately known as
The Owlies took place on 28th February 2013. These
awards celebrate and congratulate individuals and groups who
have made outstanding contributions to the Leeds LGBT
community. Business's such as pubs, clubs and retail, as
well as the health services and volunteers are all included.
Nice 'n' Naughty Leeds walked away with two Owlie awards on the night
for best venue manager (Jon Bishop) and best venue worker (Craig Roe)
As well as the standard awards, Nice 'n' Naughty Leeds were initiated
into the Owlies Hall Of Fame.

Nice 'n' Naughty sex shop wins at the
Southport Ambassador Awards 2015
Last night Nice 'n' Naughty managed to
add another feather to their cap after Michelle Cooper,
manager of Nice 'n' Naughty Southport won not one, but two
awards at The Southport Ambassador Awards ceremony. After
finding out she was nominated Michelle and her team were
overjoyed at being recognised by an award that celebrates
the work of the Southport people within the hospitality,
tourism, leisure and retail industry.
"With excellent customer service always
at the forefront of all Nice 'n' Naughty staff training,
it's amazing to see this recognised by our peers. I honestly
couldn't be happier to see both my store and the company
recognised" Michelle admitted as she placed her awards in
pride of place in the store.

Rampant Selection
Nipped in there yesterday, thinking Valentines day,
and me being in serious trouble as I'd not got anything for her yet; and
how surprised was I!
First by the range of toys, DVDs and Lingerie, but also by how
comfortable the place felt! The guy behind the counter was really
friendly, and seemed to know what he was talking about!
They had a great range of Rampant Rabbits, which should keep anyone's
wife happy, including mine! He took me through their different
functions, and I ended up with an all singing all dancing version that
should keep her happy for hours!
Then it was on to something to wear, and ended up with a rather slinky
set from Wild Designs!
Will definitely be in there again, and may even treat us to a DVD, will
take the wife next time as well, as I'm sure she'll fell as relaxed in
there as I did!
Well done nicennaughty for creating a sex shop for the 21st century!

Becomes Naughty
 I visited what used to be Clonezone on St James' Street and it is now
Nice 'n' Naughty.
I was greeted by a really nice girl (think she was the naughty one LOL).
Something that was a surprise in the shop, as normally when I nip in to a
gay store, you normally get ignored by the staff!
It had some really nice bits, and seemed to cater for us gay boys and
girls really well. I ended up getting a couple of dvds on a multi buy
offer, and to my surprise was actually given some customer service!
They had a suggestion box on the counter, and the boy and girl there
were really sweet and helpful.
So going to wish the new guys n gals there a lot of luck for the future,
nice to see a shop that looks after its customers and willing to get them
what they want in a shop.

Merited
I know that you have a mass of reviews for this shop but I had to say
that because of the reviews I visited the shop today and found that all of
the accolades were extremely merited - very friendly and unobtrusive staff
(how do they get that balance right?) excellent range and good prices -
both in and outside the sale.
I will definitely be going back!

Fabulous. So impressed. I was extremely nervous as
I wasn't sure what the shop was going to be like but I can tell you that I am
never shopping anywhere else again.
The service is amazing and so friendly. I
asked quietly to one of the girls there if they catered for bi-sexual and tv/ts. Quietly she answered back, 'How much time have you got?' To
my amazement I spent over half an hour going through dress sizes and video/dvd
titles. I have never felt so comfortable about my sexuality. There is no
judgement passed and I had a great laugh and girly giggles.
The comment made about
the 'Big, Bald guy' a little scary looking but just as friendly as the girls and very much
there to look after everyone as he is the girls. Not that they need looking
after. They are all so on the ball never missing anyone, and always a smile to make
you that little bit more comfortable.

I recently visited Nice 'n' Naughty in Chester, and I would like to comment on the
shop from a customers point of view. I took my wife for a day out shopping in
Chester last week and we had checked out the Nice 'n' Naughty website but my wife
didn't want to go into a sex shop because the Private one we had been in before was seedy.
When we walked past the Nice 'n' Naughty shop it was great to see a nice window display with
sexy clothes. My wife decided to stay in the car while I went in to get her a Toy.
The
staff were so friendly and made me feel relaxed, the girl there explained all the types of
toys available., I went out and convinced my wife to come in as it was nothing like
the pushy sales man at private, although the man in Nice 'n' Naughty is big with a
bald head he is a really nice bloke and he showed me the videos while my wife was picking
a toy with the girl.
The choice of videos was better than the toys they had hundreds. I
recommend the shop to anyone and the pubs in Chester aren't bad either.

We have been visiting the shop now for some time and have
to say of any shop anywhere Nice N naughty have by far the best customer
service anywhere. Our first visit will remain with us for years to come. We
were after a vibrator and having walked in and spent sometime looking at the
extensive range of available products were at a loss as to what to go for.
It was our first visit and a little apprehensive as to what to expect. We
were approached by a young lady (Trish) who then spent ages explaining each
and every product to myself and Girlfriend. At no point were we pressured
into spending hundreds of pounds and we felt we would have been as much
thought of and received just as much attention if we had wanted just advice.
Since then we have visited this shop many many times and the service has
just got better. It’s so far removed from the stereo typical sex shop it has
to be visited to be believe.
If only all sex shops were this good, mind you I am glad they are not,
because that’s what sets Nice N Naughty aside and makes it such a pleasure
to go. Thanks for a great service, a great range of products and best of all
the best dedication to your customers we have ever encountered.

 What an unbelievable difference walking into the new
Nice 'n' Naughty in Colquitt Street Liverpool.
I went into the shop last week with my wife and could not believe the
difference in this shop compared to other sex shops.
It is the first time I have been into a Nice 'n' Naughty shop and I
have to say that if all other sex shops were up to this standard
especially in the South of England the shops would be a pleasurable
experience.
The range of rabbits, DVDs, lingerie, outfits, shoes and other goodies was
excellent.
The staff were so friendly and helpful not the usual smelly tattooed oaf
you get in the shops in the south.
It has given me and my wife a total new shopping experience, its just a
shame that the shop is so far away from where we live.

None
I visited the Newcastle upon Tyne Nice
'n' Naughty store for the first time recently and found the
customer service to be second to none.
While looking at the product I was interested in, I
was approached by a very friendly sales lady, who offered me advice and
showed me the alternatives available in such a professional and friendly
manner. She attempted to upsell a more expensive product but certainly
not in a pushy way, only explaining the benefits over the product I had
chosen.
A definite recommendation for this store.

I have been into the new store at Southport and found
it to be just the thing needed to liven up the area. Of course not everyone
will enjoy seeing the store as they leave the train station but on the other
hand it is the perfect location for people to drop in. I found the staff to
be very friendly and made me and my friend feel comfortable with having a

Most Pleasurable
Re the Warrington Nice 'n' Naughty store. I called in there last week to buy
some lingerie.
I had no idea what to buy, and was most grateful for the friendly and
helpful advice of the staff in store. They were really friendly, impartial
and non - judgemental. They were absolutely fabulous, and I will have no
doubt I will be visiting the store again soon.
